How women felt about being recognized at work

I asked my women on LinkedIn how they felt about being recognized at work:

~ 8% said they’re not recognized at all.
~ 30% said that recognition is inconsistent.
~ 14% said most achievements are overlooked.
~ 28% said they’re recognized within their group only.

And 67% felt recognized at the same rate as men,
which tells me that it’s a problem across the board.

Been there, felt that!

It breaks my heart how many talented individuals feel unseen and undervalued.

Recognition doesn't cost a dime.

↳ A simple “thank you” in front of the team
↳ A genuine acknowledgement of someone's contribution

→ They can make all the difference.

It’s a crucial piece of making a culture healthy.

Recognition is free, but a lack of it could cost you a top performer.
