To truly understand your team:
→ Stay present
→ Ask genuine questions
→ Reflect back what you heard

Great questions don't interrogate, they invite deeper thinking:
1. What is one thing you would like to change?
2. Where do you want to get to at the end of…
3. What is scariest about this idea for you?
4. What do you need to move forward?
5. What are you thinking here?
6. What will get in the way?
7. Will that do it for you
8. What if it was easy?
9. Tell me more…
10. What else…?
11. So…?
12. What is in your way?
13. What are you avoiding?
14. What else might be true?
15. How do you want to begin?
16. How did you learn from this?
17. How far are you willing to go?
18. What does success look like?
19. What if you simply did nothing?
20. How can you make that happen?
21. What does success look like to you?
22. What about that is important to you?
23. How much risk are you willing to take?
24. What would be in the grey area for you?

When you listen fully, people feel valued and share their best ideas.
